SEATED LIBYAN SIBYL GREEN is a 20w” x 30h” digital piece on high gloss aluminum, completed in April 2016. It is built from layers of digital photographs, fractal software and photoshop to present an updated version of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Libyan Sibyl. This piece is ready to hang from attached bracket, floating off of the wall 1/2″. The viewer asks why her skin is tattooed / painted / marked with these patterns, where is she? What is she doing? Why is she looking down? How much is photograph and how much is created?
